The Association of Independent Marketers has ushered in a new era of leadership with the emergence of Mrs. Osunde Eghosa Sophia as its National President. Her emergence was formally announced at the Association’s National Convention held on 8th March 2025 at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, a well-attended event that brought together key stakeholders and members from across the country.
Mrs. Osunde Eghosa Sophia assumes this leadership role at a pivotal time for the association and the independent marketing sector at large. Her emergence reflects the confidence reposed in her leadership capacity, experience, and commitment to advancing the interests of independent marketers nationwide.
She is set to pilot the affairs of the Association for the next four years, with expectations focused on strengthening unity, driving policy advocacy, and fostering sustainable growth within the sector. Members expressed optimism that her tenure will bring renewed direction, inclusiveness, and impactful reforms to the Association.
