8 IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR AN AUSTRIAN SCHENGEN VISA.

 


This documents listed below are required for any short term and long term Austrian Schengen visa application , It  is also important to note that any false or wrong information provided by applicants during the application process could lead to the visa been denied by the Embassy or Consulate  issuing the visa.


  •         THE AUSTRIAN VISA APPLICATION FORM:

The Austrian visa application must be completely filled out and with utmost sincerity, you must sign at the end of the document after you must have printed it.

 

  •         TWO IDENTICAL PHOTO

The photos should come in passport format, a recent whole-face captured in a light background. Note that;

·         The picture should not be older than six months.

·         The picture size must be 35x45mm.

·         No facial expressions .

·         No colour matching background

·         Look straight into the at the camera

·         Head should take 70% of the photo

 

  • .      YOUR PASSPORT AND ALL TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Your passport and trip document must be valid for at least 3 month beyond your planned date of departure from Austria.

·         You must provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, a negative TEST results, or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19

·         Check properly your passport validity,

·         Passport must be stamped upon entry and exit of all Schengen area visited.

·         Your passport must contain two blank runners.


  • .      A COVER LETTER

In your cover letter you must state the purpose of your visit to Austria and must carry  the details of all your activities.

 

  •        ROUND TRIP FLIGHT ITINERARY

It must contain your flight dates specifying your entry and exit from Austria alongside the routes.

 

  •        EVIDENCE OF ACCOMODATION

This document must carry your evidence of accommodation . i.e Hotel reservations for the whole duration of the intended stay in Austria.

 

  •        EVIDENCE OF CIVIL STATUS

This document must carry your birth certificate, marriage certificate e.t.c

  •         EVIDENCE OF SUFFICIENT FINANCIAL MEANS

This document should  carry your bank account statement, it is an evidence to show that you have enough money to sponsor and support yourself.

 

 You must have in mind that If you must visit multiple countries, you submit the application at the embassy and consulate of the country. Always remember to state your intention return home after your visit.
