The new executives of the West Africa Association of Independent Marketers (WAAIM) has been elected at the association's congress held at the Prixa Hotel and Resorts in Abuja with the theme 'Exclusive Marketing 2025'.
Mr Makinde Ahmed Olakunle emerged as the new President of the association after he secured 156 votes to defeat his opponent Dr Koffi Atah from Ghana.
He is to pilot the affairs of the association for the new era. In his statement with the press, Mr Makinde vowed to uphold and respect the Mission , Vision and objectives of the association.
He also said that policies that will emancipate the positive effect on independent marketing career in west Africa will be made and a lot of seminars, workshops and conferences will be done in order to encourage the practice in West Africa.
