The Ghana Association of Plumbing Engineers (GAPE) has officially announced the emergence of Engineer Okyere Paul Darko as its newly elected National President following a highly competitive election held during the Association’s Annual Executive Congress on July 8, 2025.

The congress, which brought together distinguished members, stakeholders, and representatives from across the country, served as a platform to review the Association’s achievements, deliberate on pressing industry matters, and elect new national executives to steer the affairs of GAPE for the next four years.

GAPE, recognized as the umbrella body for all plumbing engineers in Ghana, plays a pivotal role in regulating professional standards, ensuring compliance with government policies, and safeguarding the welfare of its members. The Association continues to champion excellence and professionalism within the plumbing engineering sector, contributing significantly to national infrastructure and environmental development.

Engineer Okyere Paul Darko’s election as National President marks a new chapter for GAPE.
