SPORT: Arsenal make fresh £60m offer for Havertz

 


Arsenal have made a fresh verbal offer for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz, according to the Daily Mail.

The bid for the Germany international is reportedly worth £60m after having their initial proposal turned down last week.

Arsenal have offered to pay Chelsea £55m up front with £5m in add-ons.

Chelsea signed Havertz, who has two years left on his contract, from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020 in a deal worth £75m. 

The Blues club must recoup funds after spending close to £600m on players since last summer.
