The father of Lionel Messi has revealed that his son wants to return to Barcelona this summer, and the Spanish club is eager to finalize a contract.
Argentina has been absent from the Nou Camp for two years, but Barcelona president Joan Laporta and manager Xavi have made no secret of their wish to welcome them back.
"Of course, he [Messi] would love to return to Barcelona," said Jorge Messi, Lionel's father, when he was spotted meeting with Laporta. I would also enjoy that. We'll find out.
Next month, when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires, Messi will depart the club.
